RuPaul's DragCon returned this weekend to the Javitz Center on Manhattan’s West Side, bringing hordes of drag fans out for three days of meet and greets, panels, and untold thousands of drag queen selfies with some of the biggest names to emerge from RuPaul's universe (and beyond) over ten seasons of his now-Emmy-winning show. And while the event indeed brought out a roster of sickening talent — Aquaria, Trixie Mattel, and Bob The Drag Queen were among those present — the true magic of the con came from the hordes of fans and enthusiasts that came to revel in the acceptance and celebration of the drag community.
